Tara is a graduate of Marvel Hair Design College, Canada’s leader in Hair & Esthetics Training. She has had the opportunity to travel to different countries to learn the latest cutting, colouring, balayage and styling techniques. She has had the honour of attending class with some of the most highly respected international leaders and innovators in the hairdressing profession and she continues to learn, grow, and study her profession to provide the latest trends and fashion for her clients. Tara has recently furthered her education as becoming a regional educator for Babe Hair Extensions and shares her knowledge and years of styling with others.

Tara was raised in an “entrepreneur type” environment so it was natural for her to strive for her own salon. She has tackled this opportunity with enthusiasm, persistence and a lot of hard work. She continues to learn and challenge herself to ensure Crimson Hair Salon is Kelowna’s leading salon. Tara welcomes everyone to visit the salon where she promises a professional, and enjoyable experience with the Crimson Team.

Roxy has been an extremely passionate stylist for over 13 years. She has developed and continued to expand her skills in Kelowna since day one of her career. Also being a graduate of MC College, Roxy now specializes in colour services while favouring all blonding techniques. She has been lucky to attend hair courses and shows in the Okanagan as well as in Mexico and Los Angeles. Roxy has been a proud stylist at Crimson Hair Salon since the doors opened and continues to welcome and care about her client’s hair goals and personal wellbeing. Outside of the salon, Roxy is passionate about exploring the Okanagan from hiking and being physically active, to indulging in the local food scene.

Paris was born and raised in beautiful Kelowna but decided in her early twenties to spread her wings and move to Toronto. While there, she found and developed her passion for the hair industry, graduating from The Aveda Institute in Toronto. Now back in the Okanagan Valley, she looks forward to making your hair dreams a reality. Whether you’re looking for a lived-in blonde, a balayage, traditional highlights, dimensional brunette or a cascade of rainbows she is your colourist! Her passions don’t just stop at colour; she loves curly natural textures and precision cuts.

Robyn grew up in Prince George where she worked alongside her mother in her salon. She has been in the salon industry since she could hold a brush and always knew it was her calling in life. After she graduated high school she followed her dreams and moved south to sunny Kelowna! Growing up in the hair industry, Robyn has gained a lot of different skills and got training from multiple platforms. She graduated from Marvel Hair Design College and then went to Vidal Sassoon in Toronto for further training in short haircuts. Robyn is very passionate about balayage, short cuts and natural lived-in colours. Having been gifted with curly hair herself, Robyn knows her way around multiple curl patterns and is always keen to share her ever-growing knowledge. Robyn loves to build a relationship with all her clients and cares deeply about their hair needs!

Originally from Peace River, AB Kallie has been behind the chair since 2009 and with the Crimson Team since early 2022. Creative by nature, hairstyling prevailed and her passion has poured into dimensional blondes, beautiful balyages, trending fashion colours, technical cutting, and working with fine hair.

When she’s not in the salon, you can catch Kallie shredding the slopes in the winter, kicking up dust playing ball in the summer, or just hiking the Okanagan with her boyfriend and her dogs.

Chelsea was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Growing up, she always had a passion for beauty and fashion. Finishing cosmetology school, she then honed her skills at several high-end salons in Vancouver, developing a keen eye for detail and a sharp talent for creating stunning hair transformations.

Chelsea then moved to Kelowna, where she resides with her family. For the past 20 years, Chelsea has worked to earn the title of Master Stylist. Fades, beards, technical cuts, highlighting, colour blending, permanents, straightening, styling, long hair or short or somewhere in between – you can be sure that Chelsea delivers with a smile.

Her specialty in Balayage has earned her the reputation as being one of the best in the business. By her technique of painting hair strands, your locks will glow as though they have been kissed by the sun. In addition, Chelsea is known for her ability to work with extensions. Whether it’s adding length or volume, she has an eye for creating natural looks that blend seamlessly with the existing hair.

Chelsea remains humble yet dedicated to her craft. When she is not working, you can find her spending time with her family, hiking, or just exploring the beautiful areas around Kelowna.

Born and raised in Kelowna, Kierra has always been artistic and drawn to hairstyling. After completing her training at MC College (Kelowna), she put her training into practice at another Kelowna salon before joining the Crimson Team in January 2023. Kierra is an attentive and competent assistant to the Stylists, aiding with balyage, highlighting, colour application, and blowdry styling. Learning new skills, with attention to detail and everything hair, Kierra absorbs as fast as we can give.

As a Junior Stylist behind her own chair, Kierra is passionate about guest comfort, everything ‘blonde’, doing bright hair colour transformations, and most importantly, making guests feel beautiful! Confident yet modest, fearless to try new things, Kierra is motivated and on the path to success.

When not in the salon, you can find Kierra pushing paint on a canvas, or just hanging out in the sun.

Katie, our new talent, recently moved to Kelowna but was originally born and raised in Calgary, AB. She has always had a passion for hairstyling and was drawn to the creativity of it from a young age. After completing her training at Delmar College in Calgary in March of 2022, she worked behind the chair at a Calgary salon and completed her apprenticeship before moving to Kelowna and joining the Crimson Team in October 2023. Now working as a red seal certified hair stylist, Katie is passionate about dimensional blondes, technical cuts, and natural lived-in color services. She is dedicated to helping people look and feel their best!

When not working in the salon, Katie enjoys painting, and spending time outdoors snowboarding or hiking around the Okanagan area.

Leila is a dedicated receptionist who recently joined the vibrant world of hairdressing. Hailing from Australia, she thrives in the dynamic atmosphere of a salon, ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient operations. Beyond the salon, Leila finds solace in the great outdoors, embracing the rush of snowboarding and the tranquility of camping. Her passion for nature fuels her commitment to excellence in her endeavors, bringing a balanced and refreshing perspective to her work.

Susan has owned a variety of businesses in the Okanagan area. She is experienced in the start up, organization, and operational requirements necessary for a successful business. She is passionate about creating a salon of the highest standard supported by stylists and technicians “hand picked” because of their exceptional skills and abilities. Susan’s mission is to ensure every guest recognizes their true beauty each and every time they visit the salon. Susan appreciates Crimson Hair Salon’s wonderful clientele and welcomes all new guests to visit and enjoy!
